Walt’s Sinking Boat Tape

About four hours in the room, never mixed, never meant for release. The studio time was paid for with an old boat, which later sank.

Recorded
Pantego Sound Studio, 1988
Engineer
Vinnie Paul — paid for with a boat (the story is on the discography)
Lineup
Walter Trachsler — guitars & vocals · Randy “Gribb” Cook — drums and bass · Luke Brewer — leads

The band cut several more songs that day — “Evolvement,” “War on Drugs,” “When It Rains It Pours” with vocals, and AC/DC’s “Walk All Over You” — but only these two survived in usable shape, with fresh leads added by Luke Brewer.
