Timeline

Formed in the Dallas–Arlington–Ft. Worth metroplex by Walt Trachsler (then Dimebag Darrell's guitar tech) and fellow Pantera-camp roadie Jim Mulqueen. John Perez and bassist Steve Murphy (Process Revealed) join soon after.

First demo recorded at Pantego Sound Studio, produced by Jerry Abbott. Live dates include a May 10 show at Sneakers in San Antonio.

Second demo, F*ck It, It's Only Thrash, produced by Vinnie Paul.

Third demo self-released.

Fourth demo, Neck Breaking Fury. By this point the band had traded members with Necrovore, Gammacide, Hellpreacher, and Covenant. The original run ends later that year.

Reunion. The Demos compilation released, limited to 100 signed copies. Blabbermouth names Rotting Corpse its October Artist of the Month.

Appearance on San Antonio's Robbs MetalWorks.

A Donnapalooza benefit show — the only show in the band's history Trachsler has ever missed, sitting out for his touring bus business. Gammacide's Rick Perry and Scott Shelby and Rigor Mortis's Bruce Corbitt fill in.

Documentary Circus of Fools released, limited to 100 copies.

Intermittently active, playing reunion and benefit shows.

Rotting Corpse resurfaces again.

Return appearance on Robbs MetalWorks.

Show at The Rail, Fort Worth, with Watchtower, Accuser, Odious & Of Deities and Dust.

Thrash in Pain or Die Insane released via vicRecords — 16 remastered tracks spanning all four original demos.
